The south-west facing slopes of Mt. Ruapehu offer long runs from the highest chairlift in New Zealand. The huge snowy areas extend over unique volcanic terrain. The majority of the slopes are intermediate. Beginners can find easy slopes in the lower area of Tūroa. Difficult slopes and extreme areas are distributed all over the ski resort. Lots of freeride terrain and powder snow areas complete the offering.
