View of the volcano; highest ski resort in New Zealand; very good slope preparation; great selection of slopes; ideal for families and beginners; recommended powder snow areas; very friendly staff; free water in all restaurants

Negative points:

No chairlifts with weather-protection covers; no accommodation in the ski resort; very affected by weather (the resort can quickly be closed for a day or more); very busy at weekends

Description Tūroa – Mt. Ruapehu

we will test this ski resort again, because in the season 1999 the slopes were still closed!
The mountain was only opend for sightseeing with 1 quad!
