Children's areas and ski kindergartens are available in all three villages (St. Christina/S. Cristina, St. Ulrich/Ortisei, Wolkenstein/Selva Gardena) and on Monte Pana. There are also practice lifts next to the children's areas. Several funslopes promise a great time for the whole family. Children's menus are available in the mountain restaurants. The ski schools in Val Gardena cater particularly well to children, as recognised by an award from the state government of South Tyrol. The Mini Club offers childcare for children aged 2 years or older. There are also special family hotels in Val Gardena reserved exclusively for families with children. These hotels have tailored entertainment programmes for children and their own ski instructors. Attractive packages are also available, including accommodation, ski pass, ski hire and ski school.

Selva Gardena children's area run by Selva ski school
The largest children's area in Val Gardena is located in Selva Gardena below the Dantercepies lift. It has moving carpets and a tow rope. The mascot “Selvi” helps children with their first attempts on skis. Ski instructors from Selva ski school accompany children over fun obstacles and wave runs. Lunch is also provided for children here.
Selva Gardena children's area run by the 2000 ski school
The ski school 2000 runs a small children's area in Selva Gardena with a moving carpet for first attempts in the snow.
Ortisei children's area - Mini Park Floc
The Ortisei ski school runs the children's area and the Mini Park Floc. It has several moving carpets, wave runs and fun figures for children, as well as a race course and teepee tent.
Puntea Kids Fun Park
The Puntea Kids Fun Park is located at the Puntea button lift on Monte Pana. The park is a mixture of a funline and a snowpark. Tunnels and a cave are great fun for kids. You can also buy points cards for the button lift here.
Monte Pana children's area
The alpine plateau of Monte Pana is located directly under the Sassolungo above St. Cristina. It is an ideal area for children and beginners. with lots of easy slopes and a children's area.
Snowpark Furdenan
The entire Snowpark Furdenan is designed for children. As well as snowpark elements, it also has a short funslope with small obstacles and noises. The highlight is undoubtedly the BigAirBag. The park is located in Ortisei/Oltetorrente at the Furdenan practice lift and can be reached easily on foot from Ortisei.
Family Park Val Gardena
The Family Park Val Gardena is located in the centre of St. Cristina and has a moving carpet and practice slope next to the children's area. The Plan de Tieja button lift provides access to an easy slope.
