The Kleinvalser Arena provides a very good practice area for children and beginners at the mountain station of the gondola lift. The people mover and the pommel lift make the area at Gadastatt ideal for practicing. The Glarr tow lift also goes up from Gadastatt. Advanced beginners can master the easy and wide slopes accessed by this lift. The Faltschona tow lift also provides access to a blue slope. The valley run is difficult, so beginners should comfortably take the gondola back down to the valley. Ski rental stations are available at the base station of the gondola lift and in the village of Vals.
