The ski resort of Vemdalsskalet is located in the province of Jämtland. It is relatively far from any major roads and is accessed from the village of Vemdalen over a scenic pass. Free parking is available at all chairlift base stations. Unfortunately, the car parks are not tarmacked and when the snow starts to thaw, cars can sink slightly into the gravel.
