The ski resort of Vemdalsskalet is very family- and child-friendly. The large children’s area is located directly at Skals Torg. At Valles ski school, children from 3 to 9 years old learn to ski under the guidance of well-trained instructors and with the snowman Valle. In the lower section at Skals Torg, there is a toboggan hill and the Valles Stuga mountain child daycare centre. Valles Stuga also provides additional indoor activities for children. It offers daycare for children aged two years or older, five days of the week. Another covered moving carpet is located at the Skalspasset.

Skals Torg children’s area
The large Skals Torg children's area is located right next to the base station of the Skalet Express. It has a covered moving carpet and two button lifts for children. The slopes are wide and easy. It is the perfect place for kids. In the lower section, there is a small toboggan hill and Valles Stuga, which offers a wide range of indoor activities for children.
Skalspasset children's area
A covered moving carpet and an easy slope can be found right next to the Skalspasset base station. It is at a slight distance from the pistes, allowing young children to have fun in a safe environment.
