The local ski schools offer special lessons for children. A sledging slope with a free moving carpet in Villars completes the attractions.

At the base station in Les Diablerets at around 1,200 metres, the Ecole Suisse de Ski & Snowboard Les Diablerets operates a great children's area with a moving carpet and several tow ropes.
Ski School Pure Trace Les Diablerets
At the Les Mazots station at around 1,720 metres, the Diablerets Ski School Pure Trace operates a great children's area with a moving carpet right next to the mountain station of the Diablerets Express gondola lift.
Palace practice slope in Villars
In the middle of Villars, there is a completely free-of-charge practice area with several moving carpets. Children and beginners can practise their first turns here in a very quiet setting.
Frience practice slope in Gryon
The Frience covered moving carpet with easy slopes and a toboggan run is located above Gryon. It is perfect for families, children and beginners. The lift is free of charge and open to everyone.
