Slope offering, variety of runs at the ski resort Vitosha/Aleko – Sofia
The ski resort around Aleko in the Vitosha Mountains has slopes of all difficulty levels. Skiing above Sofia is a special experience. As Sofia’s local mountain is directly on the doorstep of the Bulgarian capital, there are impressive views of the city. The slopes below the Cherni Vrah (2,292 metres), the highest mountain in the Vitosha range, are above the treeline. The slopes in the lower area lead through forested terrain. Night-skiing is also very popular here.
