Environmental protection of the ski resort Weissee Gletscherwelt – Uttendorf

The ski resort of Weissee Gletscherwelt is located in the middle of unspoiled nature in the Hohe Tauern National Park. Environmental protection plays a very great and important role here. The resort operates gentle tourism. The ski lifts are powered with green hydraulic electricity. There are high-alpine conservation areas (no artificial snow production on the Tauernmoos and Medelzkopf) and a separate landscape protection area at the Weissee. The mountain huts and restaurants serve regional produce. The ski bus is promoted.
