From the Whakapapa base station, the Sky Waka 10-person gondola lift takes you quickly and comfortably up to the ski resort. Up in the ski resort, there are two 4-person chairlifts and tow lifts. In the lower area, a fast 4-person chairlift provides access to easy slopes in the Rockgarden. A lift (elevator) takes you to Happy Valley. There is a 2-person chairlift here and several moving carpets for beginners and families.
