    Whitewater ski resort in the Kootenay region in British Columbia is renowned for its abundant snowfalls and family-friendly skiing fun. Chairlifts take visitors to the slopes for skiing and snowboarding. The slopes in the winter sports resort of Whitewater are situated below the treeline and offer varied runs of all difficulty levels. Beginners and families feel comfortable in the Silver King area, while the Summit and Glory Ridge areas offer attractive glades, powder snow bowls and drops.
