Runs/ski slopes Willingen – Ettelsberg
The Ettelsberg and the Hoppernkopf offer the longest slopes in the Sauerland including a half dozen slopes, some of which feature multiple variations. However, the slopes are either easy or at the most, intermediate in level. The slopes begin very gently on the Ettelsberg. They then get a bit steeper and finally, come to a gentle end once again. The Koehlerhagen side and the Hoppernkopf have a more uniform profile. The slopes are wide, sometimes totally open and very promising.

The Wald slope (forest slope) from the mountain station of the Sonnen lift to the Ritzhagen and back is a relaxing ski path that is very popular with the children. The last section leads to the people mover which functions as the connection from the Ettelsberg.
Most difficult run

Short, relatively steep, intermediate slope to the left of the Koehlerhagen 2 lift (when viewed from below). It's also possible to access the Ettelsberg cable car lfit from this slope.
Slope tip
- Koehlerhagen 1
The approx. 1,5 km long slope (with snow-making equipment) to the right of the K-1 Köhlerhagen chair lift is possibly the nicest slope in the Sauerland - and also the favorite slope of Jochen Behle, the Willingen cross-country legend.
