Ski resort size Willingen – Ettelsberg

The three Willingen ski mountains, the Ettelsberg (838 m), Hoppernkopf (800 m) and the Ritzhagen (710 m), tower over the Hessian winter sports metropolis in a semi-circle with almost 300 meters elevation. It resembles a true mountain landscape and the Ettelsberg offers the highest mountain station of all the ski resorts in the Sauerland Wintersport-Arena (833 m), the largest elevation difference (258 m) and the longest slopes. The resort stretches out 2 kilometers in every direction making the Willingen ski resort one of the largest in Germany's entire lower mountain range (Mittelgebirgen).
