Due to its many easy runs, Winter Park is very popular with families and children. The first curves can be practiced in Sorensen and Discovery Park. Childcare is provided for children as of 2 months old. The kids are in good care and the parents can enjoy the skiing and pick up the kids afterwards.

The two Kids Parks are located directly at the base station of the Winter Park Village and a bit above the base station. They provide ideal terrain and magic carpets for the kids. The Ski & Ride School at Winter Park runs both parks.
