Trail map and overview maps
The very complex topography of the ski resort with slopes leading in all directions is shown relatively clearly on the trail map. However, the Kappe is shown too small and it looks as if the Sahnehang on the Kahlen Asten is part of the Skiliftkarussell, which it is not.
Information boards and sign-postings on the slopes
The Winterberg Skiliftkarussell is probably one of the few ski resorts in Germany's lower mountains at which skiers have trouble find their parking space again in the evening. The sign-posting in the ski resort was renovated a few years ago and is in good condition today. There are info boards at the mountain stations with directional signs to the lifts, huts and parking lots. However, panorama boards are only found at a few spots in the ski resort, but they do feature a dynamic display of the lift statuses.
