The Wissen ski area is one of the lowest-altitude snow-covered ski resorts in Germany. Despite being situated at just over 200 meters above sea level, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy several weeks of skiing here in most winters. The area is operated by the Ski-Club Wissen e.V. and features a floodlight system, piste groomer, ski hut, and a modern platter lift.
