The ecological footprint of such a small ski area is naturally small and thanks to the snow-making equipment, the people of Wissen don't need to drive far to get to other ski areas. Also, due to cost factors, snow-making is kept to a minimum.
Public transportation/on-site mobility

The Wissen train station (regional express from Cologne) is 2.1 km from the lift. It takes 24 minutes on foot. - No ski buses
- No scheduled buses
- It's a shame that there is no bus connection from the train station that is 2.1 km away. On the other hand, a taxi from the station only costs a few Euro and it is possible to walk the 24 minutes in order to do something for the environment.
