The Wurzeralm ski resort is partially located in a conservation area and is 100% powered by CO2-free electricity and hydro power. Free ski buses in the Pyhrn-Priel are part of their eco program as well. It is inexpensive to get to the ski resort by train to the Spital am Pyhrn station due to a cooperation with the ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railway) - "ÖBB Railtours Kombiticket Wintersport". The ski pass is included in this ticket.
