The ski resort of Ylläs is family- and child-friendly. There are children’s areas on both sides of the ski resort. At the Ylläs Express Chair 6-person chairlift, there are ideal easy slopes for the whole family. An easy Mini Park (snowpark) completes the attractions. The individual areas of the ski resort are identified by different animals.

Ylläs Kids (Ylläsjärvi side)
The Ylläs Kids children’s area is located right next to the Ylläsjärvi base station and has a moving carpet, a children’s carousel, a playground and a tubing run. It is an ideal place to practise first turns in the snow and parents can watch their children easily.
Ylläs Kids (Äkäslompolo side)
The Ylläs Kids children's area is located around the Äkäslompolo base station. As well as a childcare service and a children's park, it also has a moving carpet, practice lifts and fun figures. The very easy slopes are ideal for children.
