Access, Parking Zettersfeld – Lienz
The ski resort of Zettersfeld starts in Lienz in East Tyrol. Access from the north via Mittersill is from the Felbertauernstraße road and the Felbertauern Tunnel (toll is charged). From the west or east, you drive through either the Puster Valley (Pustertal) or the Drau Valley (Drautal). The nearest motorway is around 60 km from the ski resort.
From the outskirts of Lienz, you can take the Zettersfeldbahn lift straight up to the ski resort. The car park is large and free of charge. The lift is used for both ascents and descents as there is no valley run to Lienz.
It is also possible to drive over steep mountain roads up to the Faschingalm base station (1,660 metres/payable car park) or directly up to the Zettersfeld (1,812 metres). It takes 20 to 25 minutes to drive from Lienz.
