NEW! Austria's longest downhill valley run - 1,930 metres of vertical drop in one non-stop descent!

Austria’s longest downhill valley run! Boasting 1,930 meters of vertical drop, it offers pure, unadulterated skiing pleasure – and it can be skied in one run to boot! If you start at the highest point in the Arena – the ‘Übergangsjoch’ at an elevation of 2,500 meters – and ski all the way down to the valley then you cover an astounding almost 2,000 vertical meters over a distance of some 10 kilometers.

NEW from December 2016: Dorfbahn lift in Gerlos new 10-seater mono-cable detachable gondola

Boasting a sports shop, ski rental outlet, comfortable, state-of-the-art ski storage facilities and a covered car park for more than 200 cars, the 3-storey base station building in the village center is set to offer new standards of quality. Capacity problems in bringing passengers to the ski area in Gerlos will be a thing of the past. The middle station is located at the Rössl Alm, the mountain station on the Vorkogel at an elevation of 2,100 meters.

2015/2016

Zell am Ziller valley run

The new slope, which begins at the middle station near the Wiesenalm, is 2.2 km long and features a slope of approx. 50% making it a challenge (black slope). A special treat for all ambitious winter athletes: a continuous run from the Übergangsjoch at 2,500 m down to the base in Zell or Rohrberg at 580 m is possible and thereby 8.4 km of slopes and 1,920 vertical meters are conquered.

New winter highlight in the Zillertal Arena: the HöhenFresser (elevation devourer) Tour in Zell am Ziller

Austria's longest valley run - 1,930 vertical meters in one run!
The Zillertal Arena will open a new and long-awaited highlight this coming season: The longest valley run in Austria offers pure skiing fun with 1,930 vertical meters in one run!
