The Zillertal Arena ski resort is very suitable for beginners in several respects. There is a large beginners' area with tow lifts and covered moving carpets at the Rosenalm in Zell am Ziller. In Gerlos, beginners can ski in the large practice area at the Arena Center with a covered moving carpet, and on the easy and wide slopes at the Ebenfeld-X-Press chairlift. Practice lifts run at the base in Königsleiten for beginners. The Gerlosplatte is also very suitable for beginners with several practice lifts and easy runs. However, the only connections between the villages are on intermediate or difficult runs.
