5 out of 5 stars

Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows

Snow-reliable rating Zillertal Arena – Zell am Ziller/Gerlos/Königsleiten/Hochkrimml

All of the main slopes have full snow-making capabilities. Due to the high elevation (almost everything is at over 1,300 metres), the ski resort is very snow-reliable. The run through the Wilde Krimml (connection from Zell am Zill to Gerlos) relies on natural snow but is at an altitude of over 2,000 metres. The valley run to Zell am Ziller ends at 580 metres but, thanks to very modern snow cannons, it is usually open. Large reservoirs, for instance in Zell am Ziller in the Rosenalm area, guarantee artificial snow production capabilities.
